Boston: How Can a Pregnant Woman Influence the Baby in the Womb?

Boston,

Most women know what not to do during a pregnancy in order to deliver a healthy baby. They know not to smoke, drink alcohol, do drugs, or engage in any physical activities that may harm the fetus. But what about the things you can do to make your baby a better baby; a smarter baby even? What if you could do certain things that would ensure your baby had a higher IQ than any of its peers being born at the same time in the same hospital, feet from where you’re pushing out your first born? Some experts believe that the roles the man and woman play during the woman’s pregnancy, the music she listens to and even the things the two of them say can positively influence the baby.

Pregnant!

You find out you’re pregnant and now you have to alter your life. You now have two people to worry about: you and the little person growing inside of you. Is it now that you ensure you do the things that will positively influence your baby in the womb, or is the baby not developed enough? Nobody really knows but there is no better time to start than the moment you find out you’re expecting.

Some believe the roles the man and woman play positively influence the baby. They believe the man should be dominant and the woman submissive; to a certain degree. This will allow the baby to form an understanding of domestic relationships before it even learns what a domestic relationship is.

Some believe the food the woman eats influences the baby. They believe that by feeding them certain foods, they can increase the baby’s chances of being more intelligent, more artistic, or even more athletically inclined than any of his/her peers. For example, many experts tout that by eating pate de foie gras, caviar and other high dollar foods that the affluent are known to dine on, the baby will develop an affluent mindset, an elite mindset; and that will carry into his or her adulthood where anything will be possible.

Some believe the music the woman listens to has an influence on the baby in the womb. Listening to Mozart, for example, is supposed to increase a baby’s IQ and there are actual studies where children scored higher on tests than other children who weren’t exposed to Mozart in the womb.

And then there are those that swear by talking positively to the fetus so that it develops a strong and positive self esteem that also will carry into their adulthood. Telling the baby it’s beautiful, it’s smart, it’s going to be successful, or anything else. Some experts even claim that by doing arithmetic, times tables, reading poetry, singing or reading stories of sports stars can develop a baby who grows into a math genius, and artist, a musician, or a sports celebrity.

This is how you can develop your baby in the womb. Does it all work? No one can really say for sure. But it doesn’t hurt, does it? The most important thing is you’re bonding with the baby before it’s even born; and that’s the best way to influence your baby than any of the ones listed above.
