During the first trimester the fetus starts growing and attains a size of hazelnut and also at the end of the trimester you may start observing life on the fetus like the heartbeat or the movement of the limbs. The movement of the limbs is quite a sign to be sure of the end of the trimester.


This is the period where you have to go through regular medical checkup and tests to make sure that everything is perfect. You have to take frequent medical checkups to ensure that the fetus is healthy and growing steadily. Enhanced movements of the child growing inside the fetus define the second trimester. The shape of the body undergoes a drastic change at the start of the sixth or seventh week owing to the growing fetus and the child.


This is the stage where your belly starts showing up. Your belly becomes more prominent and conspicuous. Once you have crossed the twenty or twenty-two week mark then you can be sure that colostrums are starting to be produced in your breast. The ultimate or the third trimester is filled with more excitement. The third semester is usually labeled as the preparation time as you get ready to give birth to a child. You could sense the increase in weight owing to the fact that you have filled breasts.
